The device is designed for the production of mesh with a rods thickness of φ3-10mm and a mesh of 20-200mm. The welding station uses 400 kVA (P-50%) DC power units and 15 pneumatic actuators with a down force of 760 daN each. Transverse rods are loaded from the automatic feeder and the longitudinal rods are manually loaded by the operator. Reception of the nets is made by the Lenze stepper servo mechanism. TECNA welding controller and Siemens PLC control systems were used to control the device.
