The 6732 inverter projection welder is equipped with feeders of various sizes of nuts and devices for homing a sheet metal stamping. The nut is fed automatically and positioned at the welding spot. The welder has a power of 160 kVA (P=50%) and a clamping force of 3388 daN (at 6 bar).
The device uses sensors to detect the presence of a metal detail and a measuring ruler on the actuator of the welding machine to control the presence of the nut.
The welder has an electric cabinet with an HMI operator panel, a TE700 welding parameter controller and a Siemens PLC master controller, which is responsible for controlling the automation on the instrumens and controlling the entire process.
